commission work [15 Dec 2009|11:29am] abinitio so, a new co-worker commissioned me! yay! wearing your work is the best way of advertisement, for sure. she wanted lots of grays, and i had to convince her of having at least some contrasting color, otherwise it would be kinda drab. i learned that finding a matching gray yarn to the gray felt was the most challenging thing about this project. i could've ripped my hair out, honestly. this was the best i could do, but i'm really happy with it. so happy that i wanted to keep it. hah... it's always so hard to part with your work, eh? edit: oh yeah, i completely underpriced this thing. $40, in retrospect, was not enough. i'm still learning how to do that, and not to devalue my work. i just didn't want to scare her off. :( 1inscription| on my headstone
